Another name for Stegodyphus lineatus is the desert spider. These spiders can be found in the southern Mediterranean region of Europe. 
They are arboreal, and need a dry environment.  You do not mist these guys.  Cocoa fiber, cork bark, moss, and sticks for them to build is what they require.  They’re a rare and beautiful species.
